find the jobs that interest you in the areas of the country that you will consider. Send us an email with the numbers of the jobs that interest you and
your resume as an MS Word attachment. We cannot assist you until we have your resume. Your resume will remain confidential and we will not send it to
any employers or recruiting affiliates without your specific approval. Please do not fax or efax your resume, and do not include it in the body of the
email. We can only use resumes that are sent as attachments. MS Word is highly preferred but use the software that you have and we will contact you if we
cannot open your attachment.

The web is full of sites for finding jobs. However, if you are interested in a position in healthcare, not including physicians, this is the site of choice. We
have hundreds of jobs in our jobs search engine and we can find more if we know what you want and need. It is not advantageous to a job seeker to have your
resume widely dispersed to recruiters. If recruiters know that you are being “shopped” they will be less likely to be helpful because of the fear that the
employer may already have your resume and their time has been wasted. So, let LWA send out your resume to a few employers and affiliates and keep your profile
low until we can find something for you.
Read the job descriptions carefully and if the job calls for a nurse and you are not a nurse, find something else
on our list of jobs that will work for you. If you have no experience in healthcare it is unlikely that we can help you regardless of the degrees that you
have. In most cases experience is far more important than degrees. When degrees are important, they are important in addition to experience and never as a
substitute for experience.
Recruiters get paid a fee for finding the kind of candidate that the employer wants. If you are qualified for
the job it is usually much better to use a recruiter since the recruiter has access to the hiring authority and it saves the hiring authority time to
use a recruiter to do the initial screening. So use a recruiter unless you have no or little experience and are going to have to talk your way into a job.
Trust the recruiter and follow directions. We want to place you and we will do everything we can to present you in the best possible light to the
employer.
