Do you charge a fee to candidates?
No, there is never a fee to candidates. The employer pays our fees after the candidate has been hired.

Will you send my resume to other people?
We will send your resume to employers and other recruiters only with your permission, only for specific jobs in which you are interested and after discussion with you by phone or email.

Do you accept resumes by FAX?
No, we need to have your resume as an email attachment. That way we can email it to employers or affiliates and we can post it in our active database. We prefer that you use MS Word for your attachment, but we can process other software. So use what you have and we will contact you if we can’t open the attachment.

What is the best resume format and do I have to pay someone to write a resume for me?
The very best format is a as follows: name and contact information at the top; then education if it is strong, put it at the bottom if it is weak; list all jobs in chronological order with the latest job at the top. Give the name and location of the organization, the job title and a brief description of the job and your accomplishments. Do not list any accomplishments outside of a specific job. Put all of your information under the appropriate job and do not have any generic comments of any kind. Do not include personal information or references.

Most people who pay money to have a resume written end up with a product which is much less usable than it would be if the above guidelines were followed.

What is the most important thing to remember?
We can’t help you or give you additional information until we have your resume. Find a job on our job search engine that works for you. Indicate the number of the job and send us your resume as an attachment. Don’t send us a fax and don’t include the resume in the body of the email. If you call us on the telephone we are going to tell you that after we have your resume we will be happy to discuss the details of the job with you. We cannot give you any more specific location information until we have your resume.
